The beginner level includes three courses - beginner A, beginner B & beginner C. These courses are suitable for students who have had no previous mandarin instruction. Upon completion of the beginner courses, students should have a command of more than 1,000 basic words and 200 sentences. This will enable students to conduct and understand simple communication in daily life, such as, greeting, self introduction, shopping, taking taxi, making appointment, asking for help, ordering food, seeing doctors, booking tickets, communicating with housekeeper, etc.
